About Pujaverse
Festivals of India, in 3D — free, with friends
Pujaverse is a free website where you can walk into India's festival nights in 3D. Each festival is its own world: lit pandals and idols, lanes full of diyas, music, food stalls, rides and fireworks — and other visitors walking with you. Go alone, or start a group, share the link with family and friends, and talk by voice chat as you walk.
We made it for everyone who can't be at the pandal this year: families living far from home, people who can't travel or stand in long queues, and anyone who wants a festival night without smoke, noise or traffic. It runs in the web browser — nothing to download from an app store.
The festivals
Happy Diwali शुभ दीपावलीA Diwali night in a lamp-lit neighbourhood: thousands of diyas, rangoli at every door and dhol in the temple courtyard. Pick an anar, chakri or rocket, set it down and light it with your phuljhari. Every six minutes a grand fireworks show lights the lake, followed by the aarti and a drone show.▶ Enter Happy Diwali
Barasat Kali Puja বারাসাত কালী পূজাWalk a Barasat Kali Puja night in 3D: theme pandals with towering idols, Chandannagar light gates, dhunuchi naach on the stage, the pukur ghat and a full mela with a giant wheel, circus and phuchka. Go pandal hopping with friends and talk by voice chat.▶ Enter Barasat Kali Puja
Kolkata Durga Puja কলকাতার দুর্গাপূজাThe whole of central Kolkata from the map: every street, the Metro's real stations, Howrah Bridge and Victoria Memorial. Go pandal hopping from Bagbazar's traditional ekchala and the idol-makers of Kumartuli to College Square, Santosh Mitra Square's golden palace and Deshapriya Park's giant Durga — take the Metro under the Hooghly or hail a yellow taxi, with friends on voice chat.▶ Enter Kolkata Durga PujaMore festivals are on the way.
